Master Mind Audio & Video

Facilities:

Our studio space and control room has been designed with an emphasis on creating a comfortable, relaxed and superior mixing environment. The control room is 18 x 13 and has been purposefully built into a home residence in Brookline NH. The room has been measured and treated to reducing standing waves and rouge low frequencies that can often present problems when mixing a song in an untreated mixing environment. The room features 14 custom bass trap absorbers using Owens Corning 703 acoustical foam, the room also has several high frequency auralex absorbers and diffusers.

Video post and audio mastering is also a centerpiece of what we do. For recording and mixing, it is the perfect place for singer / songwriters, artists and composers who will be tracking instruments (or "laying the basic tracks") with overdubs. As a post production facility, our space is not designed to accommodate recording of live drums or full bands wishing to track sessions in real time. Our isolation booth is cozily designed for recording overdubs, vocals, acoustic guitars, and amplifiers with guitar / bass re-amping. We have ample space for clients to relax also with a finly appointed waiting area with 65 in flat screen TV.

For capturing those killer guitar electric tones, we offer world-class amplifier emulation using Avid's Rack Eleven guitar solution. Using guitar emulation ensures we can get you the right sound quickly and directly into Pro Tools without fiddling with conventional methods of auditioning multiple amps or setting up and running microphones and cables. What’s more, after your guitar performance is captured, sounds can be re-amped and changed on the fly with literally hundreds of amp / speaker and microphone combinations from within the Rack Eleven emulator.
